Identify other key stakeholders in your business who might be appropriate to form a working team. Ideally, you should have senior team members from HR, Risk & Compliance, Procurement and Accounting (or team members with those responsibilities, if there are not dedicated departments). You should also ideally have a board member or a member of senior management involved in the process at the outset.
Share the diagram with your team or pop it on your wall to remind you of what needs to be done.
Put the reporting date into yours, key stakeholders and management diaries. Note: the new, extended deadline for submission of modern slavery statements are 31 December 2020 for Foreign Financial Year reporting entities and 31 March 2021 for Australian Financial Year reporting entities.
