PRO BONO / LOW BONO
A firm effort to provide pro bono and low bono legal services.
Lawyers for a better world!
We regard pro bono work as an important part of our social corporate responsibility and an important aspect of our lawyers and paralegal's social responsibility and professional development
We are aware that not everyone has the same access to justice and this i unacceptable to us. Though we are but a few, we believe we can contribute to remedying this imbalance.
Whilst we have always provided pro bono services at our firm, we are committed to raising awareness of the need for equal access to justice for all, which is why we have committed to the Australian National Pro Bono target and have formally set up our pro bono and low bono program.
In addition to the many individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who do not have access to justice, there are also many not for profit organisations, entrepreneurs and small or emerging businesses that are focused on making our communities better, and who have limited capacity to access legal assistance, These groups often do not qualify for traditional pro bono services.
With that in mind, we have opened up our pro bono and low bono program to mission aligned organisations and businesses.
For further information regarding the program and eligibility please review the information contained on this page.

About the Scheme
In a nutshell...
The focus of our pro bono program is on enhancing access to justice for disadvantaged people and mission aligned community organisations and entrepreneurs who would otherwise have limited or no access to legal services.
Whilst there is are quite a number of organisations and firms offering pro bono legal services to disadvantaged people, many still go without access. In our view that is simple unacceptable. We are doing our bit to try and change that.
From our research and experience there are a large proportion of the community who remain under served. Often they are the community based organisations and people who want to create services that will enhance community and our planet as a whole, but who have limited funding.
By offering our services we hope our small contribution will have a big impact on our society and the planet.
This can be as simple as obtaining legal help on those important first step legal issues such as formation and incorporation and the drafting of important legal documents such as website terms and conditions and privacy policies.
